OUR STORY
Martyn and Emma met in June 2024 on a dating app — technically the second time they had matched, but the first time they decided to see where it might lead. Encouraged by Emma’s friend Kelly, who also knew Martyn from school, Emma agreed to a date at Slouch. Martyn insists Emma did 95% of the talking that night, though they agree they each did 50% of the drinking. What followed was a whirlwind year filled with laughter, love and kindness — from many more dates, travelling together, to buying a home together, and then a magical engagement on holiday in Italy. From that first drink to forever, it’s always felt easy, joyful and meant to be. Our story is written in the quiet moments and the grand milestones, and we cannot wait to begin this next chapter in the timeless hills of Tuscany.

Most of our guests will likely be flying over to attend the wedding, at this time flights for August 2027 have not been released. We will be monitoring the availability and will communicate this at the earliest opportunity. Guests will be able to fly into Pisa or Rome in order to reach the venue. We will be arranging a bus transfer from the airport to the venue on the day of check in and a similar return journey on the day of check out. We will follow up with guests who would wish to utilise this service and it will come at no additional cost.
For those who may be coming in by train, the nearest station is Grosseto, this is a further 20 minute journey by taxi to the venue. Please advise if this is your preferred route as the venue can assist with a taxi service. For guests who may be hiring a car, the venue has several parking spaces available.
We know you all have very busy lives and we wanted to take this moment to say we greatly appreciate the effort involved to attend our wedding given the distance to be travelled.
accommodation
We have reserved the entire villa for the three days in Campagnatico. Therefore, there is no need to reserve your own accommodation. The cost for the three night stay, a continental breakfast each morning and your meals on night one and night three is £275 per person. When you check in at the property staff will assist you to your designated room for the weekend.

Welcome Dinner
Agriturismo Villa Bellaria, 1 Via dei Granai, Campagnatico, Toscana 58042, Italy. Join us as we welcome you to Villa Bellaria. Check in is from 4pm to 8pm, use this time to settle in to your accommodation and explore the grounds. Later in the evening join us for our welcome dinner with traditional pizza and regional wines to begin the weekend's celebrations.

The Wedding Day
A continental breakfast will be available for guests in the morning. You are also welcome to explore Campagnatico and visit their local café or bar if you would prefer. The wedding ceremony will begin around 4pm followed by aperitifs and hors d'eouvres. Around 7pm we will commence with speeches and the traditional Italian meal, followed later by dancing and a 3 hour open bar.
Day 3 / relax & recoup / sat 21
Pool Day
Breakfast will be provided by the staff at the villa between 8am and 10am. This day is for rest and recovery and we encourage guests to take it easy in whatever way works for them. The villa is equipped with an outdoor pool that guests can access between 9am and 7pm and we encourage you to utilise this if you wish. Later in the evening there will be a BBQ prepared for the farewell dinner.

Farewell
A slow and relaxed morning to share memories and refreshments before departure. Check out of the villa is at 11am, at which time guests will begin their journey home or continue on to their next destination.
TRAVEL & ARRIVAL
Flights for August 2027 are released approximately 11 months in advance. We recommend flying into Pisa or Rome. We will be monitoring the release of flights to assess the most suitable options and plan to share this information at that time. We will be providing a complimentary group shuttle from these airports on Thursday afternoon; please let us know your flight details once booked.
ACCOMMODATION & STAY
The entire Agriturismo Villa Bellaria has been reserved for our wedding party. Guests will stay in designated rooms within the main villa and surrounding cottages. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on Thursday. Continental breakfast will be served each morning in the garden.
DRESS CODE
For the wedding day, the dress code is 'Tuscan Summer Formal'. Think light fabrics and elegant silhouettes. Please note that the ceremony and dining will take place on grass and gravel, so stiletto heels may be difficult. We recommend bringing suitable walking shoes should you wish to explore the grounds and surrounding areas. If you plan to make use of the pool facilities, please also remember to pack appropriate swimwear.
TIMINGS & FLOW
The celebration begins with a Pizza Welcome Dinner at 7:30 PM on Thursday. The Wedding Ceremony will commence at 4:00 PM on Friday. We will conclude our weekend with a Poolside BBQ on Saturday evening before departure on Sunday morning at 11:00 AM. A more detailed itinerary for the wedding day will be added nearer the time.
RSVP INFORMATION
Closer to the wedding date, once invitations have been sent, we will add an RSVP function to the website where you can confirm your attendance. This will also provide an opportunity to share any dietary requirements so we can inform our caterers accordingly. We would greatly appreciate you responding as soon as possible once this becomes available.
GIFTS & REGISTRY
Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift we could receive. Should you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution towards our future together in our new home would be sincerely appreciated. However, please do not feel obligated.
CHILDREN
Due to limited space at the venue, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy a short time away. We thank you for your understanding.
LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Campagnatico is a beautiful medieval village with stunning views and charming cafes. If you have extra time, we highly recommend exploring the local vineyards of the Maremma region or taking a short drive to the Tuscan coast.
WEATHER IN AUGUST
August in Tuscany is typically hot and sunny, with high daytime temperatures and warm, balmy evenings. We suggest checking a reliable weather forecast closer to the date for a more precise outlook and to ensure you pack accordingly.
PRICING & PAYMENT
The cost for the three-night stay, including two evening meals and breakfast every morning, is £275 per person. Please note that this is an overall package price and cannot be adjusted if guests do not stay for the full duration. A payment link will be added to the website once RSVPs are released.
UNPLUGGED CEREMONY
We want our guests to be fully present as we exchange our vows, so we are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away until the ceremony has concluded. Our professional photographer will capture every moment, and we will share these photos with you all later. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you like!
